If the UN were to actually take on this mission, and I highly doubt it would actually happen, what makes you think the US Military won't give full and complete support?
Because I would hope that the CIC has the authority to tell the U.N. to fuck off and to direct the US military to show the Blue Hats the fuckin door . Or the inside of the appropriate number of pine boxes , their choice .
As he rightfully should, though we seemed to have crossed the wtf sanity line lately. Not making this a "would you fight back bla bla bla" gone off the rails type thread jack but in the same light another question could be asked.
What makes the councilman actually think the UN should or have the legal right to show up and try to instill any type of civil obedience? Technically its a foreign invasion, wouldn't that by definition also be an act of treason on his part?

Overrun by Govt. ,Laws , corruption and the Good ole Boys that know it all in City Hall and State Govt.
They do it right too, just look at how their Govt. finances are. That will make you puke.
They need the Gumba Wise Guys back.
They ran a better show and put up with no shit.

The Gurkhas are bad mofos, but I wouldn't wish Chicago on them. The group that comes to mind with extensive experience with this shit is the old South African KOEVOET from the bush wars in Namibia, Angola, etc. I worked with a few of their former members and those guys are nuts.
What's sad is that Chicago could "solve" a lot of their own problems if they would just turn their own PD loose to do it's job. Hell, reinstating Stop an Frisk would make a huge difference rapidly. Dedicate some resources to it and STFU when some things/people get broken and the lawlessness will reduce. Start actually imprisoning violent career criminals and it drops further.
