China should take responsibility for its poor hygiene

I had to google the 'gutter oil' thing too.

It is beyond despicable what some 'humans' (and I use that term loosely) will do to other humans. No different than cocaine/heroin processors/purveyors.

And society is trying to blame 'firearms' as the focal-point of society's problems. Talk about delusional. Ban mental illness.

Reactions: Blue Sky Country
If you want to match China's price point, then in return we get to match their standard of living. Sound like a good trade-off? Not to me.

And in the meantime, you're funding a Communist regime.

So do your boycott. When was the last time you saw one actually work?

Then, this funding of the Chinese Communist Regime is not unique to me or this country. What we buy in this country is so heavily riddled with Chinese content, none of us can claim not to be funding Chinese Communism. See those Buick commercials? Even if Chinese goods of all sorts were reliably cut off from importation, it'd still come in through the goods from other countries, as product components. Do you buy dog food or cat food? Have you noticed that the steel US industry uses is sourced offshore, from the Eastern offshore? They're all just doing precisely the same shit for the same reasons as you're accusing me of. Yeah sure, I'm the problem.

Wake up.

Cheap Chinese goods do two things for the US. They make American products cheaper, and increase US profits because without them components would cost more, a lot more.

Then, what to do with a billion unemployed China men? War, anyone?

I love it when people ream me about how international commerce works when they don't know shit about what they're talking about.

The camel is completely inside the tent, folks; it's been in here every day since Nixon went to China. There's not only no point to boycotts of any kind anymore; boycotting China is a a total mind fuck joke. Couldn't do it, make it stick, no matter how hard you tried.

So blow your spitballs my way, if it makes you feel good.

Different by degree.

There's a lot of truth to what you say. Also exaggeration. The truth probably lies about halfway.

Keep throwing my word in my face, and you'll be talking to the Ignore button. Again.

Level playing field.
One can just look at the rate we were making millionaires and billionaires during the last
"recession".
Sold our ass out.
Our economic policies are supposed to be negotiated to benefit Americans.
