Re: Chinese scope marketing..

This may be funny, but as recipient, I'd still regard it as private/business communication nonetheless and treat it as such.

Re: Chinese scope marketing..

Send the scope to Lowlight and let him do a test on it - it could become a hit video on Youtube. Kind of like breaking in the barrel video.

Re: Chinese scope marketing..

"2. Strict QC, we have hired two professionals who have been in this field for more than 15 days, to inspect our riflescope strictly."

Two Chinese Quality Control professionals with that much experience? lol

I get this kind of crap in my Inbox all the time.Unsolicited Emails looking to sell me something I don't want.

I would be willing to bet this same factory would have no qualms about producing counterfeit scopes of your choice. It is a pretty sad day that you can't even buy some scopes new or used without knowing the seller or checking with the factory to see if they are genuine.

Screw these Chicom Bastards!!!

Re: Chinese scope marketing..

I would normally agree.. but it is unsolicited overseas spam, so I will treat it as such..:) my true biz dealings are all above board and treated as such

Wow, building shitty optics for 15 years.... Thats an achievement!

Re: Chinese scope marketing..

Guys - while it is fun to poke such solicitations, I can tell you first hand that the Chinese (some) are starting to ramp up quality levels.

I have been to many factories overseas in Japan, Taiwan, China and I am starting to see a shift in the type of production facilities in China. There are optics factories that I have been to that are being trained by the Japanese who have some of their components made there to save cost. The Japanese are top dogs for optical stuff, as we all know.

There are factories in China that make our chop shops look good and there are factories cropping up that are "clinical". The biggest customers of German and Japanese made CNC machines currently are the Chinese. I don't think the junk from China will turn into gold overnight, but there is enough European and Japanese influence in China to allow some factories to make inroads. FWIW.

Re: Chinese scope marketing..

Burt Gummer said it best:
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">We want a high quality product at a fair price (not cheap), made in America not China!
We want to benifit americans not chinese, no offense.
Are Chinese people really better off working for $2.00 a day rather than fishing and
farming?
If we Americans don't have jobs we can't buy anyones product no matter what the
cost! Stand up for what's right, Quit making Junk no matter what the customer wants!

I apologize to you for being so mean, it's not directed at you. But rather directed
at what your countrys cheap junk has done to our country </div></div>

And OldTrader3

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">

No American company will give you any information about their processes it is proprietary. This is one area where Americans are very upset with Chinese companies and Chinese government. you do not respect intellectual property boundaries such as Copyrights and patents. </div></div>

C.H.I.N.A. = Cheap, Hokey, Incompetent, and Not American

Yep,and instead of just the fake Loopys, pretty soon their quality will allow them to make counterfeit S&B,Zeiss,Swaro, and NF.It is all about making $$$$ for these people and there is no shame in copying anything.

I loved the guy selling "ACOG Clones" and saying they were not the usual Chicom crap, these were HIGH QUALITY CHICOM CRAP!!! If a company here did something even close, they would be shut down over night.

Being in the line of work that has experiences with Asian manufacturing, I appreciate someone who also has real life experience with Asian manufacturing to step up and try to educate others.

However, I have 2 points to make.
1. At this point, still only a small numbers (in comparison) of manufactures that are really advanced in both technology and quality. Almost all of them were trained by tier one OEM companies around the world. However, this number has been growing, fast. As to mil-spec. or tactical products, they are not there yet.
2. The people that has never had a chance to get involved or introduced to Asian manufacturing will still bash them just because they like to bash them. You will be surprised as to how many things around us in the daily life are made in Asia now a days.

After all, it is a global economy now, do take advantage of it. Certain products I stick with American brand, for everything else, I go with whoever that can provide the most advantage to consumers.

Just my humble opinions~

Dyl..

Re: Chinese scope marketing..

Target In Sight, wise words and I would agree with everything you said.

Globalization... You cant always beat it... And in these circumstances the only thing stopping the Asian scope market from annihilating local competition is the overall quality of the product.

I still lol'd my ass off when I read this... 15 days QC experience LMFAO

Re: Chinese scope marketing..

We'd all be better off if the Chinese shit getting shipped over here got sunk in the ocean and never made it. Of course all of the lead and heavy metals they put in everything to kill off Americans would destroy the ocean.
