Im sure theres someone on here thats done it before. ECC has a 1/10 twist ECR is a 1/11 so before I take on the task of doing it Im just curious on some results? Any accuracy drop off? reliability issues? Anything I should know about?

Your question is confusing. Are you thinking about modifying your existing ERC barrel by shortening it to 16" or re barreling to a 16" barrel with a 1:10 twist ECC barrel?

If "chopping" the existing barrel as you state, you'd better have the work done by a competent gunsmith. Any time you shorten the barrel on a gas gun, you change the pressure which could likely lead to cycling issues.

Knights rifles tend to hold their value well. Rather than modify your ECR, why don't you sell it and buy an ECC ?

This. X 11teen hundred.

Look for an EMC/EC/ECC. Don't cut shit up. Seriously.

Sell your rifle, look for what you want.

Good Luck.

You would regret modifying it from its original factory configuration. Not only do you void your KAC warranty but even with the best KAC armorer once its modified its value if you ever sell it would be greatly diminished! The engineering and gas systems are designed specifically for each model of the SR25 line and are tailored to squeeze all the accuracy and reliability out of the platform. Sell the ECR and look for the ECC. Good luck

While there are a lot of very knowledgable people on this forum, I would ask KAC for their advice with something like this. You can also look at buying an SR-25 carbine.
