Does anyone on here have a CA-15 g2 as a general purpose (SHTF) rifle? Looking into getting one with a Nightforce ATACR 1-8. Wondering if they’re reputation is holding up in the AR world. Also anyone that has used the carbon fiber barrel wrapped is there any difference in performance?

I've been wondering why I don't see much about them on the forums here...
There might have been some discussions about Christensen over in the bolt action forum. I understand there are different challenges to making bolt guns versus semi autos, but it might give you information about other people’s experiences with the company.
If it needs to be SHTF-grade, and it needs to have a carbon fiber-wrapped barrel, you might ask @MSTN about a build. I don’t own/haven’t fired a rifle made by him, but he has has an exemplary reputation here.
