Christmas time in NE Ohio and then a hornady question.

So I went into a local store in NE Ohio today and thought it was Christmas time. They had 8 box of 208 .cal 30amax 100 ct . They had 3 8lbs jugs of H4350. They then had 5- 500 smk 69 box of bullets. They had 5 100 bullet box of 140 grn smk 6.5

They no longer have any of this. I did leave the 208 hornady match.



This brings me to my question. They reloading person there stated that Hornady Suspended 160 different bullets from production, until they get a bunch of bulk bullets made. Now he stated that the 6.5 and .308 where on this list. Can any other dealers or people with inside info confirm this.

Go to their website, if the bullet is suspended it will be listed as suspended.

Not all 308 bullets or 6.5 bullets were suspended, just the ones that were less popular in terms of sales volume.

They're still making plenty of bullets in every popular caliber.

If they used that excuse to gouge you on the prices I would never give that place my business or recommendation again, because it wold have been a flat out lie.

Their prices beat midway, and they say Sir Mam and thank you often. He showed me a list of 160 bullets. I will continue to shop their as they have gotten me stuff that no one else could.

There was a thread on the suspensions a couple months ago. People got their panties in a bunch about it as they didn't understand why they were doing it. Here it is if you want to dredge through the many pages

i think i know your source and i cleaned the other 2 places out of the 208's,and i forgot about the east store or
i would of had them 2 .
