After three years in the humidor these Rocky Patel junior Maduros finally taste pretty darn good. Proof that time may turn a piece of dog shit into something worth having.

We blended a barber pole on one of the first runs to Nicaragua. It went the opposite direction. Even after 5 years I couldn’t make it through the first third.
I’ve tried a few Rocky Patels hoping to like them. But too many burn issues and dull or bitter flavors for me. Local brick and mortar always hosts Rocky.
I’ve learned it’s just not the brand for me. Sorry to hear the disappointment.
I know exactly what the problem is. It’s right there on the label. Rocky Patel. Getting a good one seems to be the exception these days.
I've seen those at a place that's about a 1 1/2 hour drive from me. I almost bought a couple but there wasn't any room for them.
What is your opinion on it?

Got lucky and scored two boxes. Still have a few of the full-size Bride cigars sitting in the humidor from last year and some Viaje Zombies. Gonna be a good fall season.
Working on a Cameroon house blend from one of my retailers. Pretty decent, upper side of light/lower side of medium.
There's a few boxes of Frank Redux available at this site, I just grabbed a few boxes. Hopefully they're as good as the original release! Everyone is sold out, these are the last boxes I could find:

Swear, I think cigars have either become more popular or people are just collecting these things and selling them for higher profit..
I started smoking cigars when the Mummy series and the Little Monsters set was released.. Boxes would be sitting on the shelves even into December. Now they are selling out during pre-orders
