Clear coat that doesnt come off

Hey guys, I have painted my stock OD green because the black bores me.

I used krylon camo, i need a clear coat. I have used krylons flat clear coat but it comes off just as easy as the paint.

What is the most permanent clear coat for a stock? thanks

I don't know what duracoat would do over kryon but their clear coat is some solid stuff.

Try duracoat matte clear

duracoat over krylon should be fine.
i would just do light coats with good dry time between.

Use the satin clear duracoat its what I use over the guns I duracoat. It will give you a flat finish. I've never used it but a buddy said the flat clear and the Tactical Colors are real dull. I used tactical black on a barrel and it looked real good but was like a chalk board if you scratched it with something it left a white mark. It would rub right off but if it bumped anything it looked scratched.

Brownells Aluma-Hyde II is perfect for a <span style="font-style: italic">top coat </span>. Comes in a rattlecan and is tuff as hell but takes about a week to cure hard
