His neighbors said he was a model citizen….ATF seen hauling out a garbage can full of firearms.

- Multiple weapons seized in various ways that serials match suspect's purchases.

- Suspect observed having an actual booth at gun shows without an FFL and selling weapons he purchased a short time before the show.

- Suspect observed informing "customers" (be it informants or UC LE) that if he doesn't have the weapon they want, he can get it.

- Suspect observed driving in erratic, confusing patterns after purchasing firearms. The Assumption is that he was attempting to take precautions from being followed. Which would indicate knowledge of the laws he was allegedly breaking.

- Purchased multiple (one type was something like 25 times) of the same model weapon.


We can just stop there. If true, he was straight up trafficking weapons.


Someone with this kind of list if potential charges.....not unheard of to put up a fight. Some have suggested they could have made contact somewhere else. This type of subject has a very high chance of being armed and also a high chance of resistance requiring deadly force. I had an acquaintance years ago that got terminated from his job in Law Enforcement for doing something stupid (I can't remember exactly what it was). At any rate, he started legally purchasing a bunch of guns. I mean a bunch. He would take orders from criminals and buy whatever they wanted. He was pretty benign and a super nice guy. The ATF got wise and had a UC order a few from him. He got busted and is in Federal prison. He wasn't the brightest individual I've ever met but I was still surprised this dumb ass would do such a thing.

I agree and it makes total sense. But where is he more likely to fight? Sitting at his desk at work, or in his home allegedly full of illegal weapons, after being startled awake in the wee hours? (in the same way you or I would react if someone kicked the door in when you were sleeping)

Many professional athletes have TBI from concussions. Including my beloved Junior Seau, God rest his soul. Some commit an occasional homicide, crime of passion, get caught selling or doing drugs, batter their girlfriend, run from the cops, etc... However, thuggin' it out in serial killer fashion doesn't generally fit their profile. Aaron Hernandez was a horrible human being.
