I am doing some market research.

How many of you would be willing to join an exclusive, members only gun club for $275 a year to have anytime access to steel and paper spread out from 100 to 1300 yards?

There would also be pistol ranges, shorter rifle ranges, sub-gun/carbine courses, etc.

I am interested to know how far you would be willing to travel to said facility and specifically interested in those who would join if the club was located in central Missouri.

thanks all,
Brian

Sounds like a deal. Some campsites, or little cabins would be nice for people traveling...unless its near enough to get a motel.

You have four other ranges in that area 700-1000yds that i know of
Big piney
Ridge Runner
Vets
and i forget the name of last one
Ozarks is well served with LR facilities, thou more is always better

My current membership
$325 life
so
$275 per year may be on the steep side for area

Oak Ridge Sportsman Association (ORSA), with its Great 1000 yard range (and all the other ranges and facilities) is $120/year-Oak Ridge Tennessee. $275 doesn't sound way out of bounds, I guess it would depend on what facilities were associated with the membership, example: clubhouse, "short" sight in range (300 yards would be good), camping area, rest rooms etc.. Along with how will the range be taken care of, i.e., who mows/ and how often, hours of operation and the like. I wish you the very best of luck in this venture, hope it works out, more ranges the better.

I pay 189.00 per year and drive 3hrs round trip (with a great big smile on my face) 5-7 times per month to a similar, "free", "American" range, just to hear the sounds of suppressed and full-auto fire. Thanks be to God.

i get that for $75 a year here.

8 separate ranges

1st- A pistol range 25 - 50 yd covered with benches for year round all weather use
2-4- 3 separate pits for comps and practice equipped with barricades..
5- is the short rifle range this is 100, 200, and 300 yard stops also covered with 15 lanes and benches
6- this is the 500 yard range also covered the
7- tis is the 1000 yd range
8- this is the indoor pistol range and club house with bathrooms and showers as well.

the entire range is gated.. all you need is the magnetic gate card swipe it and the gate opens.
there is the initial fee of $75 to buy 1 share in the range and $75 a year after that. so i guess i have it good

and its 15 min from my house

Where abouts in Delaware? Is membership open?

for $100 / year I get steel and paper from 0 - 1275yds, indoor pistol / archery, outdoor pistol / archery / 3d archery, trap, skeet, plinking range, weekly benchrest and / or varmint shoots, monthly 3d archery shoots, all types of classes, and probably 400 acres to hunt on and a stocked pond to fish in. If that gives you something to compare too. And its all located within 20 minutes of downtown pittsburgh.

We have folks on our waiting list at $215 per year dues. It not unusual to wait two years or more.
We shoot out to 200m and are currently pushing out to 300yds.
If i were there, for 1000yds, I'd join.

Got one like this here in Houston called Bayou Rifles. Been trying to get membership for two years. No dice can't even get on their waiting list.
No advertising - Members only its all word of mouth.

I'm beginning to think the Bayou Rifles membership is a myth. They have a web site so it's not ALL word of mouth...

Bridgeville Delaware. It is open and there are several members from PA here as we'll
I think there web site it bridgevilleriflerange.com I think.. If not PM me and I'll find it for you. It's a nice range. There are competitions as well if that's your thing.

It is never over populated. I have been there many times and had the entire place to my self. Your even allowed to hunt on the property. In season game of corse. I have had deer walk on to the range while was shooting.
