anyone have trouble with a CMMG bolt not resetting a RRA 2 stage NM trigger on a dedicated AR upper? i ran some rounds through mine last weekend and about twice out of 50 rounds, it failed to reset. Never had a FTF or FTE, just wouldnt reset the trigger. anyone have an idea on a better trigger to try that will work with this? Timney Single stage? Geissele? its in my SBR lower so i dont mind too much dropping some money on a better trigger that will work with my 22LR upper.

Your problem could be that there is too much resistance in the RRA trigger's disconnector hook for the recoil energy of your particular .22 load to overcome. In that case, you could try some high(er) velocity stuff or just keep shooting it to better break-in the trigger (if it's newish).
I've used Wilson Combat single-stage and 3-gun triggers in a S&W MP15-22 with zero problems.

is the 3 gun trigger the geissele trigger or the wilson combat trigger? the RRA trigger is kinda new-ish, probably less than 500 rounds. i was shooting subsonic ammo, which will be the rule with a 4.5" upper and can, rather than the exception, so i want to make sure i have a good trigger with full power springs to be able to reset reliably.

It's Wilson's 3-gun trigger.
So what length barrel were you shooting through? Subs through just a 4.5" might not have run the bolt hard enough to overcome the disconnector on the RRA.
My .22 SBR is at 12" and I'll sometimes shoot through a suppressor but I've only ever used standard and high-velocity ammo.
