Yes, saw it the night that it first aired. I have several Remingtons and have never had this problem but have heard about happening prior to this special. Doesn't change the way I feel about Remington or their guns.

Yes. It seems to have been all over the place these days. Still never had any problems with any of my 700's.

The only problem I've ever had is a slam fire on a course.
I freely admit that it had to do with the very light pull I have on my rifle.
I just can not see a 'lawyer proof' 7lb trigger letting off that way.
It's either the ammo, or excessively light trigger settings.
My Smith, who's been working rifles for 30+ years says that you are either shooting a Remington, or getting your ass kicked by one.

neither my old trigger styled 30-06 or my new .308 have had any such problems
