Had 6+ inches on the car last night that I cleared off before going to bed, and another 6+ inches piled on it already by morning. Inside one of the initial evac zones for the big Colorado fire, so definitely much needed.

All I got lol it was actually a pretty easy night out there. Just slow due to road conditions.

While at an artistic level I can appreciate that photo, realistically I find this one much more satisfying.

Year round fruits and veges right off the tree.
No heating bill/ tradewinds = no cooling bills.
No slipping on the ice/no heavy clothes to store in the summer.

I post what I do here in this thread, simply to show others of how bad it truly CAN be. And how they/y'all should actually APPRECIATE what you do have, and where you all are. Maybe even be grateful for what you've got.

I used to crave the snow and cold. Former skier, backcountry snowmobiler, dabbled in trapping, coyote hunting, etc. Sometimes I crave a real bad one to see if it drives out the droves of people that are flocking to my back yard, but it's certainly not my favorite season.

Seems like a switch flipped for me a few years ago and now I would rather just not deal with it. I like the changing of the seasons, but any extended amount of winter grows old on me.
