Not sure what your definition of "near" is, but the DOW range south of Buena Vista is cheap (free) and has steel out to 1,000+ yards.
Depending on where you are in CS, it's about 100 miles. I drive 135 to get there and it's always a fun place to shoot. </div></div>
I would really like to get out to that range sometime, as I hear a lot of good things about it. I was wondering if you knew of anything within a 50 mile radius of the Springs? I live as far west as you can without getting caught up in the Waldo Canyon fire.
