I am looking for a taregt AR-15 to shoot at my club at 100 and 200 yards. On occasions I may shoot at longer yardage. My goal is to shoot 1/2 to 3/8 inch groups at 100 yards. I am considering a Colt Accurized AR-15, but I can't find any details on Colt's accurizing process. Is the Colt Accurized rifle comparable to other custom tuned AR-15s? Would I be better off buying a custom target AR or modify whatever I buy?

I've got one that with good ammo will .75-1 MOA. It might do better with a better shoter pulling the trigger. My brother has one that shoots just as well. I really like mine.

I have not shot that rifle, but I have experience with the Rock River Arms NM AR15. I have around 3000 rounds on mine and it has the capability to shoot high master scores on full length courses.
