What are some comparable brand optics to the new Bushnell HDMR scope? Comparable not in price but in features, specs, and functionality. Features I like about this scope include the 3.5-21 range and the reticle choices.

Thanks...

You don't say which reticle you want.

If you want the reticle choices and the quality you need to spend more. For the same reticle choices I think you'd have to go with a custom USO, they are going to be the only ones offering "anything you want" type service with a custom build.

If you are looking at comparable scopes off of the shelf, the SS 5-25 ($1.5K), the Vortex Razor ($2K), a USO ($2.5)probably the NF F1 ($2.3K). You can get a NF NSX but it's not a FFP scope.

That pretty much covers the bases. Top of the line you can go to Schmidt and Benders or Hensholdt but that's north of $3K.

IOR as well.

I really dont know what it is comparable to, but I really like my HDMR! I shot it next to my friends PST 6-24x50 ffp and the HDMR's image is a lot more crisp and bright. But that is just my experience...

I've read some buzz from this last Shot Show about a Zeiss ZF 3.5-26X by 56mm FF. I'm not sure what reticle(s) they offer....or when / if they'll bring it here.

Might be an option?

I'm pretty sure the Zeiss will be at least 1k more than the HDMR.

I would take a vortex pst over any IOR, as every IOR I've owned and most every IOR I've seen in competition has failed miserably.

If you are talking about the Hensoldt then it's not even comparable. The HDMR is $1K, Hensoldt is $4K. I really like what the HDMR offers, but shooting the Hensoldt is a dream.
