My current SPS Tactical 308 is 7.5 pounds without rails or scope. What would be the weight of an AICS 1.5 & 2.0 without scope or rails but with the 700 action and barrel?
Adrian the new Manners Prototype that Thomas posted yesterday or day before yesterday is a Thumbhole with an internal bedding block. That means that there is no need to bed it. The AICS is a heavy bitch but well worth it if you like folders and non bedding stocks

With scoper rings and rails it should be about 14lbs. Its worth it. Mine is currenty 17 lbs and I still hunt with it. I just love the stock.
The AICS S/A Stage II systems weigh in at 5.25lb range, just weighed one of mine. I was shooting in the dark with the rifle and setup basically, hope that helps.
