Finally decided on putting an Aimpoint CompM4 on a new AR. Any advantage with the high battery position vs the low?

Finally decided on putting an Aimpoint CompM4 on a new AR. Any advantage with the high battery position vs the low?

I like the higher position because it is easier to find the knob. Also, when shouldering the rifle, it is more out of the way and visible. I guess it is just personal preference. I got because I got a ripping deal on Amazon of all places. $499.99 brand new!!

I have usually found the 4 for about $150 or more less than the 4s.

Personally, I like the low, but I'm a southpaw. Probably not so big a deal for you right-handers.
