I used to carry a commander series 1911. Never had any issue concealed with an inside the belt holster. Keep hearing everyone say it’s hard. I’m not THAT big (5-9”, 184lbs without a beer belly). My family was worried about my age 9recoil??) and purchased me a WaltherPPQ in 9. It carries and shoots good. When i feel like ti I carry a Ruger SP101 in .357. Cool gun and quite accurate. (Used to hit IHMSA pigs at 100 meters with it from a strong sitting position). It has a 3 inch barrel and finding a holster that is comfortable is a pain. But have no issues concealing it.

kramer makes nice IWB holsters .......6 month at least wait time , i also use garrett kydex they draw sweet

S&W M&P M 2.0 in 9mm. In an OWB under my oversized Magellan's angler shirt and t-shirt underneath. The magazine holds 17 rounds. I have two more loaded mags always nearby.

The one in this pic has a lever safety. Mine does not. The safety on mine is a booger picker safety.

Every day, a little snub-nose .38 in an appendix carry IWB holster that I honestly forget I’m carrying at times.

Any time we’re “going out” and I’m wearing a coat, or if we’re heading anywhere near downtown San Antonio or Austin, I’ll swap it out for a G19 or P320.
I have the 340 its a pleasure to carry but nasty to shoot 357's . When I carry it I am like please everyone behave while if I carry the python i am like....bring it

You guys are fancy. I'm nervous to even say it..

Glock 27 on the regular. Glock 19 during winter months if I'm wearing longer shirts or layered.

Sold all my handguns years ago except my glocks. They just work for me. I'm super accurate with them, they are reliable, never a single jam or feed issue no matter how cheap the ammo. Therefore, it's a tool that I trust my life with.

i am the old fudd with revolvers lol

P365 for me as well, with a green dot sight. It is so light and thin, you forget it is there. No one sees it. If I am going somewhere sketchy, I carry the P320 compact. It has a few more rounds, but the larger grip and more mass is more secure in the hand. Also per the advice of Jerry Jones at OpSpecTraining, I bought the size large grip. The large grip fills my hand better, and I am noticeable more accurate at speed with it.

Mostly I use leather holsters from R Grizzle, they are like a piece of usable art.

Another Glock "fan" here... And I use "fan" loosely.

Pistols are a tool to me. You might as well ask me what my preferred hammer, oil filter, or sauce pan is... Whichever tool that does exactly what I need it to. And in the case of a pistol it's keeping me alive long enough to get a rifle or carbine in my hand.

I had a 19 and it was good. But the wife wanted her own pistol and didn't like the way the 19 felt in her hand... So we went shopping. She got a 48. So I traded in my 19 for a 48 too... Same caliber, same magazines. Not my favorite, but it's adequate and we can share mags in the unlikely scenario that we would need to. Call it my tactical OCD I guess.

Gotta admit the 48 is a bit easier to carry than the 19 was.

Not even in the same zip code as stylish or fancy. But it works.

Two of the IWB horsehides still drying as we speak and a bridle/horsehide composite belt just finished up. ( whoever designed the Springfield XD-9sub-compact- hats off, man. You made the glock 26/27 feel slim and balanced. - Kramer and milt sparks -really anybody’s horsehide stuff is amazing. I literally cut our horsehide belt blanks on a table saw!
