No, my thoughts were not directed at you specifically. They were offered as dismay at the current state of our country, and our inability to prioritize and address issues in a rational manner. I am seeing people infected and dying of this damned viral pandemic, while others are working themselves to exhaustion. I am seeing people act selfishly and carelessly with respect to their health, and that of their community (lack of social distancing, masks, and cleanliness). I am watching crime, looting, and general anarchy being produced nationwide, and yet the public readily globs on to any justification or rational to allow or promote this mindless mob behavior. I see the slow steady march of socialism under the moniker of ‘progressivism’, all following the revolutionary tenents of Marx and the tactical steps of Allinsky.
So I am sad, as I never thought I would witness the active dismantling of our country in such a broad, holistic attack. Worse, I never thought the majority of Americans would be so weak as to allow the French Revolution to occur here. Finally, I am pissed that so many gave so much to see this country and it’s people succeed. And the majority of the blame falls on all of us for allowing our government to become subservient to political parties rather than principles. We are in a downward spiral, and our enemies will likely take advantage of our weakened condition. The future looks pretty grim.
