Trying to decide to go pistol or sbr route and wanted to confirm my understandings.
pistol class lower with an sb tactical can be shoulder fired with cheek weld. Id be looking at 9-12" barrel lengths.
if my oal is greater than 26" i can put a verticle grip on it. If it is shorter i can do like the magpul afg? (If vert grip is attached the pistol cannot be concealed?)
once a pistol lower with the sb brace there is no maximum oal and i can slap my 18" spr upper on the pistol lower?
no issues suppressing in any of the above lengths.
if this is all true it seems the only advantage a stamped SBR has is an adjustable stock?
im just asking for the federal level. Going to confirm at the state after i have this info understood. I live in NC though so I don't think ill have any issues (if u live or know NC laws feel free to chime in).
i appreciate any input...theres so much jumbled crap out there I jyst wanted a little confirmation what ive understood isnt crazy.
