If the Form 4 is in a trust's name or LLC then yes it can be shipped. If it is in your personal name, no it cannot be shipped as you will have to fill out a 4473.

The true benefit is that you wouldn't have to pay to transfer the can. Keep the "dealer" out of the picture. Straight from the manufacture to the stamp holder.

A 4473 needs to be completed regardless of whether it is going to a trust, LLC, corporation, partnership or individual.

That's what I was about to type out. +1
The individual that picks up the item must fill out a 4473 as a record of pick up from the dealer.

I had to fill out 4473s when I picked mine up.
