i picked up a weatherby 30-378 accumark for a long range dear blaster this fall for a fairly reasonable price.
so i picked up a meopta meostar 4-14x44 scope. im trying to figure out the internal adjustment range. all i can find is in the manual and it says "adjustment range - min. 40' 115" can anyone translate how much moa adjustment that is.
the reason i ask is near said if my scope had plenty of internal adjustment, his mount would get me to 1200 yards.
so i ask what slope is built into his hunters 2 ring alpha mount and he will not tell me. he says its proprietary and says if my scope has plenty of adjustment it would get me to 1200 yards???
is there a way i can take some measurements and get the slope once it gets here? figured i might mic the front and back height and get the distance between two and plug that info into an equation and get an answer.
thanks in advance if anyone can help.
