Covid Masks & Home invasion: BURGLAR KILLED, trying to rob a family during Quarantine

yea corona , herpes and a divorce all in one delivery .. great idea for the single male but food and a lap dance while everyone is locked down in there own home that's ingenious .

Yea I can't imagine just opening my door, ever. I think some people become too comfortable and just open it out of habit. Assuming it will always be a friendly face on the other side.

I also can't imagine anyone going through the junk and trash on garbage day here. I'm in the country, if someone stops and starts rummaging through the trash, they are going to get confronted really fast.

That's one thing I like about living in the country. Anyone pulls in my driveway and my motion detectors go off. If they walk within 50yds of the house at night the motion sensing lights come on and trigger my chime connected to the driveway sensors. There's no reason for anyone to be around my place unless I know they are coming.

I have had people lost come by very rarely, I know if they are out there. As long as they are cool so am I, but it is no place to be dicking around. Knock on wood, I haven't had any problems yet. My red nosed pit is a deterrent too, come up on my porch and you'll always see her head looking out right at you...

LCP is 9.6 oz. Sig P365 is almost 18 oz. LCP is 5" x 3.5" and 0.8" wide with 7 shot capacity. Sig is 6" x 4" and an inch wide. It does carry 11 rounds of 9mm vs 7 .380. But for that size and weight I've opted to carry an LCP, and I have carried it under all conditions for the last five years or so. So utterly compact and light I don't notice it even i gym shorts. I'm not a big guy at 5'8" and 160 lbs. A bigger man will likely have less issues with a larger concealed pistol in shorts. And 9mm sure is nicer than .380. I just found that in my summer uniform of t shirt and shorts, I would always carry my LCP.

I'm not sure if you were replying to my statement of LCR vs. P365 of what I carried as you quoted my post partially, or if you were simply comparing a different model the LCP as compared to the P365

I was talking about carrying the LCR in .357 Magnum with 5 rounds plus 20 spares, as compared to the P365 with 16 rounds and 15 spares.

The pistol you are talking about is the LCP which is a super compact .380 semi-auto

The Ruger LCP is a lot smaller / lighter than the P365 for sure.

I would however put it in the "better than nothing" category as compared to others.

Again all the compromises we make to conceal carry and still lead a normal life, anything is better than nothing for the most part.

I didn't like the Sig P365, didn't quite feel right in my hands. I've since got a Glock 43x and a few 15-rnd mags for it from Shield Arms. 15 +1 in a subcompact = titties!
