The problem we have is that most don't have the strong backbone that my family does. So, the teachers don't get corrected oh, the administration doesn't get corrected so the curriculum doesn't get corrected.
Stepdaughter had a real hard time understanding why they aren't teaching facts and truth about history. Unfortunately, she went back to live with her dad and now is extremely liberal. She had a real hard time accepting truth, liability, ownership Etc. Very sad because I had a lot of Hope for that girl at one time

I had a hard time in college being a republican. All my fellow students loved the idea of socialism and our professors encouraged it. I was very outspoken against it being that my mother and my grandparents suffered tremendously under the Castro regime in Cuba. They applied to come to the U.S.A. during the free flights and were able to come only after my grandfather was thrown into a labor camp for 8 years. Many years later I became a teacher and was reprimanded by administration for telling a student that communism was horrible. They wanted me to apologize to the parents. The side effects are no worse than what people experience with flu & tetanus vaccines.
27 years of being a government guinea pig got me a weakened immune system that requires weekly infusions. Probably an anthrax jab in 2000 that has been linked to a bad batch. I'm thinking no to another vaccine.

Carcinogenic studies are conducted during research. I know of several drugs that were “killed” because they were carcinogenic. Name one that was approved knowing cancer was a side effect.
I went from manufacturing where I’ve have an auditor who literally makes his living finding mistakes in my work....find NOTHING so he says “can you make this 8 look more like an 8” I just laughed in his face and went to lunch. Poor manager had to bend to his will and write the “operations personnel not present, make a new “8” sign and date.
Now I work Research. My lab is disgusting. Full of filthy Indians (dots) no aseptic technique and we helped w this vaccine. We rushed every step. Verified the bare minimum. Sent to trials. Good luck out there. There’s a REAL REASON healthcare workers are ~34% committed at getting it. I said I would. But I won’t. So maybe that number is lower.
P.S. I have an antibody test and I have already had it. We bank our own blood, my samples in Nov are clean. Feb and on are not. College went to China in Dec. figure it out.

Manufacturing risks has nothing to do with potential side effects of a drug taken. As the person I replied to indicated the fda approves drugs knowing they cause cancer as a side effect when taken. Which is simply not true. Manufacturing is a whole different ballgame not included in the lists of side effects.
I manufactured the drugs. I can stick whatever i want in there as long as my QC sample passes.

I worked in pharceutical research for 15 years, so yeah, I know a it about this topic. First in bioanalytical chemistry, then formulation development, and finally clinical pharmacology.
As for putting whatever you want in there, as you indicated. That depends. If you change any of the excipients you have to redo your toxicology studies.
As for Excedrin, that’s OTC. Different submission process. Covid-19 Vaccines and other NCEs go through a different submission process.
That was discovered after its approval, not during. Big difference.
I’m not saying that pharmaceutical companies and the fda aren’t infallible. I saw plenty of shit during my research days. I was just simply stating the fda would not approve a drug knowing it causes cancer. There are two side effects that will immediately kill a drug. Carcinogenic, and or teratogenic (birth defects).

It’s unfortunate, yes, but again the drug would never have been approved if it was found to be carcinogenic. I know it makes for great conspiracy. Believe what you want. I have seen plenty of drugs in my day get killed because they were found to cause cancer. Some very promising drugs, too.
The point made was regarding cancer, not what you mentioned above. Again, I’m not defending the industry, but saying things like “fda approves drugs with side effects like cancer”, is simply not true.
There are a variety of drugs that can cause renal issues. That’s well known. Had toe fungus recently? Oral meds for toe fungus can cause renal issues.
One major study all drugs have to undergo is called renal/hepatic. The purpose is to asses the impact on the kidneys and liver. Which can have an impact on the drug’s indications.
Lasix, for example, can cause renal issues. Do you want Lasix pulled from the market?

My mother had kidney failure after taking a blood pressure drug. She was on dialysis 4-5 years till she died. She swore it was the BP meds that did it. Never had kidney problems before that.
Saying the industry does its job with drug testing is the same as saying that there is no systemic racism. They're both true. It isn't the system that is bad, it is the people in the system. You can have all the rules and laws in place, but it's the people in the positions that matter that get in the way of those laws. All it takes is one judge who doesn't give two shits if Jamal has a rock solid alibi, or one inspector who could care less about a prolapsed asshole or two with your new hemorrhoid medication, as long as he gets his bonus. That's when the fudging happens. Rules and laws don't mean shit if there's no integrity or morals attached to them, and those are in short supply these days.
