Hello All,
I apologize in advance because this topic has probably been visited already. I just could not find it. I want to put some color on my Grendel. I want parts of the rifle to be painted Coyote Brown. Not Coyote Tan. I've looked at a lot of pictures and color samples and can not find the right color. Everything seems way to light. I'm looking for something simular to the color that Eberlstock, Eagle and the USMC calls coyote brown. Also, I want to have it done professionally. Can the color be mixed with Ceracoat or KG? Any pics or information you have will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jim

Looking for this color......

That's the closest I've seen so far, but it doesn't seen to match all that well. Most of what I've seen in that color has has more of a shiney finish and almost seems to have a red hue.

There is an AR15 on the website which was done in the Patriot Brown. I have the Eberlestock Gunslinger in Coyote Brown and I think it is a pretty close match. If you still don't think so, contact Kevin at B&M Gunworks, he does all the Cerakote work for the shop. I'm pretty sure he can mix colors to your specs. They are located in Madera, Ca just north of Fresno. If he can't do it, check out Holding Precision Firearms, also in Madera. They did my most recent AR build in Coyote Tan and Desert Verde, came out great!

Cerakote H-268Q looks pretty close, Troy Coyote Tan. Darker than the standard Coyote tan, borderline brown. From the looks of it that's as close as I can find.

I can live with this. Thank you, Maybe with a color this close, no one has complained enough to justify another color. I guess Im just to picky.
