Hunting & Fishing Coyote Hunting with Savage 223 with Suppressor

Went out shooting with my Savage 223. factory rifle except I added a Thermal Scope and Suppressor.
Coyote at 325 yads with Pulsar Trail Scope


Coyote at 300 Yards.. One Shot Kill

Coyote ran into Water Ditch at 300 yrds

Nice shooting, what kind of ammo are you using, factory or hand loads?

These handloads were 50 grain Hornady Vmax. Lake City brass. 25 grains of H335 Powder. I also loaded 55 and 53 Vmax with 25 grains of H335 and have similar point of impact with the Pulsar Thermal XQ38 Trail Scope. In other words, I can interchange all 3 loads and not change my point of aim from 100 - 200 yards.

At 300 yards I do need to aim at top of target. .... in the case a coyote

Here's a video clip of the 3rd coyote I shot.

The distance was 100 yards.

This Coyote popped out of the woods while I was walking back to my car after checking out the dead coyote at 300 yards.

I took this shot from the kneeling position.

I have an Android Phone. I plug into Windows computer and search the files for the streamvision folder. The copy and paste to my Windows computer.
