I saw that as well. I was amazed at their ability to, not just survive, but flourish in an urban environment. It was also interesting to see their interaction with humans in the neighborhoods.

All the yotes I have killed here this year have dwarfed the ones I just killed in Montana. Easily another 10-12lb of weight sometimes more. Much more mass to them. There's a definite difference.
 
That second link definitely discribes what I see here in South Eastern CT. I've seem packs of a half dozen or more numerous times while out and about. Its erie hearing multiple large packs hollowing at night.
