I have the Cree drop in unit from TNVC (Vic) and they run great. I put them in my G2 and 6Ps.. they're REALLY bright.

be very careful of the lumen ratings...yes the actual led may give off 325 lumens, but the output of the reflector housing and flashlight may be much lower.
The market for these drop ins is huge and you have some pretty good stuff (malkoff wolfeyes etc) but there is also some very cheesy crap out there as well. Most all will use some form of a cree led but that does not mean the wiring, heatsink, and other parts of the drop in aren't junk. If all you want is a brighter light, there is probably very little risk in the $20 drop ins, however if you want to keep the durability and service of a Surfire, Streamlight etc. many of the knockoffs don't measure up even though they may produce a little more light.

Cree is the best bar none in the LED world, commercial, residential, and flash lights to boot. Can't go wrong with them.

I'l tell you my G2 with the cree light is actually too bright to use around the house... it's blinding!
