Once fired american eagles 223 fmjs.... I think they're crimped arent they?

Any good? Or does the crimp make it useless?

Crimped where? Regardless whether you are talking about case necks or primers they are useable. Primer crimps just take an additional step during processing.

I've got cases of Federal American Eagle that are crimped at the neck.

Federal american eagle is crimped at the primer pocket. Regular federal is not. Right now I am processing 750 pieces of crimped american eagle .308 brass on the rcbs press mounted swager.

I suppose maybe it depends on what lot it came from and how old? I've got 1000's of federal AE. .308 All crimped up top and no crimps at primer.
