Main other change from what I have on my sheet is I plan on going with a NXS 2.5-10 or some other similar ~20 oz optic and no NV provisions.

Ah, so $150 over the standard Apollo. Got it... Well cool to know the cuts are on both sides. I will be honest, I never even looked at the standard Apollo. It was either Zeus or Lite for me. lol

Defiance makes a dedicated 223 action. It is available in more that one of their models. My favorite one is the Deviant Tactical.

I’m reality a manners would only be saving you about a pound? KRG is roughly 2.9 pounds/46.4oz, and the LRH you talked about early on is 29-31 ounces. Might be tough to get any lighter without losing options?

Plus 4oz for bottom metal and high cost for NV bridge add on.

I like it so far. Great quality and smooth.
And he responds quickly to calls/texts

Once broken in the bolt lift is barely noticeable and it’s just so smooth. It quickly became my favourite action. Was going use another for this latest build but wanted to try another 3 lug. We will see.
