Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

Re: Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

I have never heard of a person that didn't like them, though I'm not trying to say that one doesn't exist. I personally don't have one yet. I've called them to order one but can't seem to get a hold of anyone. I've also heard that the horsehide model does not absorb sweat as well, might be a good option for you. Somewhere on here there is a pretty big thread on Crossbreed, I'll find it when I get home.

Re: Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

Just ordered a crossbreed two weeks ago! i'll let you know what i think once i get it. Not to get to far off topic but anyone have any suggestions on a good belt for concealed carry? I was checking out the galco and the ares ranger belts.

thanks

I have this same holster for my S&W M&P 40 and the biggest issue I had is the leather rubs the mag release and the magazine falls out. I had to cut the section out for it to work right. Other than that it is the most comfort you can have in this type of holster and it hides even the four inch handgun even with a loose t-shirt. Other than what was stated above it still is by far the best holster I have.

Re: Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

That falling out thing is the biggest fault of any combination of holsters and autos. With all the freedom of moulding the manufacturers have, why can't they design a surrounding boss on the pistol frame that will protect the mag release?

Good Point, I am going to call Crossbreed and discuss the problem so that in the future there won't be any issues at all with their product.

Re: Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

I have a super tuck and it's great. I really like the holster. I've carried mine nearly everyday for a year and half and it's still going strong. I highly recommend.

I don't have a problem with my mag release. Pistol is an HK P2000sk.

The Combat cut solves this for most traditionally placed magazine releases.

Re: Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

The Crossbreed SuperTuck is amazing. It beats, in my opinion, any inside-the-waistband holster you can currently find in the market. When I'm off duty, I make sure to always carry my issued weapon with me. I trust the SuperTuck for comfort, concealability, and reliability. It hasn't failed me, and I don't believe it ever will.

Re: Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

Got mine on right now. Very comfortable and adjusts well for however you want to angle the weapon. The large shield between pistol and your body is great for helping keep sweat away and keeping the weapon from digging etc.

Ended up getting the cow hide one since it was in stock, but wouldn't mind trying the horse either.

good stuff

Re: Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

I received my Super Tuck several weeks ago and it is the
most comfortable IWB holster I have used. I have several other name brand IWB holsters but the CrossBreed is the most comfortable
of them all.
I plan to get another for my 1911.

Comptac make a VERY nice belt. I bought one for CCW and wear it daily. Great service and price.

Re: Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

I have been wearing the ST with a Sig 239 for a couple of years and have no complaints. Very comfortable and enough adjustment to make it work for your own build and draw preference. Get it in horsehide and a good belt to go with it.

Re: Cross Breed Holster Reviews?

I bought one for my Glock 32 from a hide member back in the summer. I have owned this pistol for fourteen years. I have carried it more in the crossbreed than I did all total before getting the holster. I have the horsehide one and love it here in hot, humid, Arkansas summers. The only draw back is, now I wish I had a crossbreed for my 1911's. I have worn mine inside of jeans with an under shirt and polo henley tucked in, without anyone knowing.
