Going to upgrade the scope on my crossbow. Looking for some sub $500 options. Not interested in the range finder ones. What are some solid options with illumination.

Hawke, they have two models, the most expensive one fits in your budget. Many of the high end crossbows come with them. They are good glass and very durable, all of their scopes are airgun rated, which destroys many scopes. I am not affiliated with Hawke, I manage an outdoor store, so I get to see what works and sells.

I put red dot in mine and haven't looked back, Aimpoint 9000. Measured the drop out to 50 yards and just hold-over
