If anyone has some pics they would like to post of their custom paint, I would like to see them. It seems to me that deciding what paint job to go with has been the hardest decision I've had to make in the process of my current (first) build. I like the GAP camo that mcmillan offers but am also interesting in seeing some more lighter color schemes like, but not limited to multi cam. I'm interested in getting some more ideas for the barrel, action and scope. I would like to see something of a "working" paint job if you guys know what I mean. Thanks!

Total cost: ~$3 worth of paint
Total time: 1 hour, including time to degrease/mask off the non-painted bits
FWIW,I used Aervoe rattlecan paint and a bit of old camo netting for a mask, moving it around in between colors.

I recently did my first camo job on my Elk hunting setup....It was just normal GAP though...(fits my hunting surroundings here in the PNW).

What I would like to try next - is more of a FDE style GAP....
Here is a pic I found when googling it quickly....

I DIY mine so you probably wont call it custom. Painting isnt rocket science, prep is the most important.

It comes down to what you like. I like the effect of digital. Doing it yourself, one can experiment with things and do over if not satisfactory to your likings.

The FDE GAP style is a work of art. That is the colors I want my rifle,
