Chelsea Manning shared a photo of herself a day after being released from prison Wednesday.

The whistle-blower debuted her new look on her social media accounts on Thursday after seven years behind bars. Former President Barack Obama commuted her sentence before leaving office in January.

Manning was sentenced to 35 years in prison in 2013 for providing WikiLeaks with a massive amount of sensitive government documents. She was heralded as a heroic whistle-blower by some and a traitor by others.

That same year, Manning came out as transgender and shared with the world that she identified as a woman named Chelsea, “request[ing] that ... you refer to me by my new name and use the feminine pronoun.”

During her time in prison, Manning attempted suicide twice, and was sentenced to solitary confinement for one of the attempts in late 2016.

We dont have flat track here. Back in the 70s there was a well groomed scrambles track to which I raced three times. I did not fare well in the races but always won the wheelie contest money which paid for the day.. I wish we had speedway here. I am fascinated with it. Little to long in the tooth for new ticks.

I rode a few Speedway races with a Weslake that belonged to my cousin. It was great fun and they usually let me take hotlaps and see if anyone wanted to race with me,
Met some real Gentlemen at Speedway. They made me Win. I was considered a "Dirty rider" and had no real skills on the bike, and don't fall down in front of me as I have my hands full just running strait and getting a good sliding lap in. They would get up against me and show me how it was done. They all knew not to get in front of me and give an Old Fart something to remember.
I was a Flat Tracker and it is a lot different.but great fun. Whole different skillset, but much the same. They gave me great Schools and I loved it and would encourage you to try it if in your area.

There is a good example of a Dirty rider. I did a few like that myself.
Doesn't have the clean line and gonna get dirty.
Dirty rider in Speedway does not necessarily mean you rode foul or against the rules, but can have that connotation, it means you do not have the skills to ride clean lines and clean laps.
I always tried to race everyone clean and fair both on the Flat Track and Speedway unless provoked.then the gloves came off so to speak and I could be an Asshole with the best of them..
On the Flat Track I was clean as all hell and smooth as glass but had a lot of experience out there. Rode many years and would do it again today, if my leathers hadn't shrunk.
