Stopped by Cabela's this morning to see if they had a Bergara BMR....they did not. However, they did have a Tikka T1x and a CZ 457 American. I really wanted to walk away with the heavier barreled Tikka, but I just couldn't get past the classy lines of the CZ so we picked it up. The dark walnut, the beautiful checkering, and the fit/finish were just awesome. Also picked up a set of rings (that ended up being a whisper to low), and a scope to round out the package. Ordered a new set of rings just now, and hopefully Tuesday we'll be ready to go.
I'm really glad I got the rimfires out a week or so ago...kids love it, I remembered how fun it is, and the ammo is much more reasonable than our centerfires.....good times!
