My CZ authorized dealer told me from factory if I ordered now it's 6 month wait.

Is this the same gun as the Varmint except with a manners stock? I am thinking about one if I dont go the Annie repeater direction but would like to get the T5-A to match my centerfire. No need to spend the extra on the stock..

I was lucky to get mine; I can see the wait as they don't make those stocks every day.

I have been looking for one as well with no luck . The price is not out of line at all. A 455 Varmint is over $400 and the manners stock is $450-$500.

I want to upgrade my CZ 452 but untill I can get a cool looking folding stock boltaction rifle with a threaded 16in barrel for under $1,000 its not happening.

Talked to a CZ rep the other day and he couldn't find one of these anywhere in the states but did find a 455 Varmint that's on its way to me this week.

i think im more the exception that the rule, but i ordered december 3rd and called a few days ago and was told it would be a few more weeks.

the port is larger and bolt travel is longer lilja has 22lr barrels available now and will be making 17 hmr soon

I am not sure about this model but all other 455s the barrel are interchangeable. You can have .22 lr, .22 wmr, and .17 hmr all with a simple barrel change.

I read some where you only can order regular contour barrels not heavy, from CZ. But all 455's are interchangeable.

This is what I was talking about. From my understanding the 455 is a swap barrel platform like the Sako Quad is. You have the 4 options you can choose from. .22LR or Mag and 17 in both its configs as well. I didnt see any mention of wanting a custom barrel. Even if you go that route I cant imagine Lilja making a barrel for the 455 that isnt the same mount type to where you wouldnt be able to change your barrels when you wanted. Someone please correct me if Im wrong.

my distributors said they are a few weeks out from taking initial delivery.
we'll see... everyone wants to make you think they are getting stuff faster than the other guys.

Lilja attaches the same as the CZ barrel so you can always switch back when you choose.

I called them the other day. i asked them what thier special order ship time comment was about. They didnt really have an answer for it. They said they are waiting just like everyone else. So... no magic here it seems.
