I love the way the full size CZ shoots...this will be interesting.

Personally holding out for a Laugo Remus for this role though. Those sold out immediately upon release and I missed the boat…plan is for that to replace my Staccato-C (the old STI version) as my swim suit season CCW.

No. If you’re going to go Shadow, go full size OG SP-01 Shadow or S2.

I mean shrunken Shadow sounds fun… but c’mon, full Shadow with the belt and shit is where it’s at…

I just saw these this morning. I’ve shot Shadow 2’s a few times and loved them but couldn’t justify one because I already have other pistols that do the same thing, I’ve been eyeballing the compact since it came out but was bummed to find out it didn’t have a decocker when I almost bought one on a whim a couple months back.

Now they release this which is exactly what I want except it uses an RMSC cut instead of the other system so I can’t put a quality RDS on the thing and the only options are shield and a bunch of Chinese shit. I’m going to see if Cajun can RMR or RMRcc cut one, if they can I’ll probably snag one because it checks a lot of boxes for me and I’ve been wanting a Shadow 2 of some sort for a while.

I called Cajun, no options on milling right now and sounds like they don’t think it can be milled for other cuts either but that they’ll explore it more in the future. Lame.

I think this is going to a bit hit for CZ. It’s like an updated P01 which was always an underrated gun. The Holosun 407K and EPS carry are solid optics. I hate supporting the CCP but these things work well.

Well I had to get twice as many 507K’s delivered through exchanges than I needed for a few pistols to get ones that weren’t defective right out of the box with cracked and chipped lenses. Then two of them got sent back to Holosun within a year because one just flat out died and another fell off a nightstand onto carpet and had a wondering zero afterwards.

So I’ll have to disagree about them working well because quite frankly I think they’re pieces of shit that I wouldn’t put on anything beyond a range toy.

If it has a decocker and a firing pin block is it really a Shadow..? I don’t think so.

I sort of get it if viewed like an updated P-01… but half of what’s so cool about Shadows is how awesome their triggers can be (because of the Shadow-specific lack of FPB or decock clockwork).

IDK, most CZs are awesome, maybe this is the gateway drug to going full Shadow at some point for some folks lol.

I love a Shadow 2/SP01 as a full size and carry a P01. The carry Shadow 2 just isn't enough different than my current P01 for me to have any interest. Same capacity and fire control, few oz heavier. I have a fully cajunized P01 for several hundred less than the carry Shadow 2 costs. I like the looks of it better but in function and role it looks like a more costly, heavier duplicate to me. I run 507Ks on 2 P01's that have seen a ton of rounds and beat to shit. They have done very well. Same service for me as my Trijicons.
