How are you 457 guys lightening your trigger pull? Are you just adjusting the factory setup? Sorry but $15 for a $.20 spring and $10 shipping from Yodave is just a little over the top.

Is the trigger the same as a 452/455? My 452 I just used a spring from ace hardware. I got the part number from a search I did. Was on a rimfire forum. Used it on two guns and worked great. Was about 75 cents. Sorry i cant remember the part number. Just Google cz452 or 455 trigger spring

Pull the existing spring out.........measure it out........then buy some small compression springs and cut with snips to length.
I have even used springs from a bic ink pen ..........I can't remember what guns it was that I did a few trigger jobs on..........I believe they ruger 77/22's.

I adjusted my trigger.. no spring.. on a empty chamber with the bolt cocked, I backed off the sear adjustment screw until it released... then about a half turn back( clockwise).. I then adjusted the pull weight screw until I got it down to around 14 oz.. did the bump test and slammed the bolt home.. no issues, safe .. shot the rifle last weekend and it was GTG.. measured the trigger again when I got home, and it was still at 14-15 oz.. measured with a Lyman digital scale..

Like you I couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money on the trigger spring. I followed the same procedure as 1911 operator did based on his recommendation. I adjusted my trigger down to a nice crisp 1 1/2 lbs without a problem and never touched the weight adjustment screw. I did it all by adjusting the sear.
