I don’t know why, but for a while I slept on their pistols, even though I love shooting a CZ75 compact every time I make it home.

I made the mistake of going to my local GS and having them show me all the CZs they had, and after going back and fourth with a few models a P-07 followed me home. It was a close tie with a Shadow 2, and one may eventually end up here too.

Only my very very limited supply of discretionary spending keeps me from bringing pretty much one of everything CZ makes home from the gun store. I daily carry a P-07 every day. I run it with a Stealth Gear IWB holster.

how do you like that holster? Been looking into various ones for the P-07

Man, I finally shot one a few months ago. It is an SP-01 Tactical in 9mm that I got dad last year.

It is a smooth, and low-recoiling pistol as it should be with the weight. The trigger is a bit unpredictable as it has a bit if creep with no wall...but that may have caused me to concentrate on it enough to shoot it as well as I did.

It now has put a Shadow 2 on my radar...either that or a P210 Target. As it will be an informal target pistol, capacity is not an issue.

Unfortunately, 2020's gun budget is currently being put towards nothing but AR platform builds for reasons. Maybe 2021.

Have fun with your new P-07.

Supposed to be a SAO Shadow 2 coming out this year along with the Dan Wesson DWX.

I’ve been very happy with it. Regardless of the marketing - this one is no hotter or cooler than any other one. Every kind of IWB holster is hot against your skin after 12-14 hours in the summer time.

All of my CZs have worked trigger parts from CZ Customs or Cajun. All of them are configured as defensive carry with night sights, and the SP-01 wears an Olight Valkyrie PL-2 with 1200 lumens of daylight.

So I made the mistake of handling a Shadow 2 when I went to the store to buy my P210 target. I waffled and then bought the P210 as it's an itch I needed to scratch. The P210 is a wonderful pistol and shoots 124gr Winchester white box very well BUT I have a serious desire to get the Shadow2, and would have already bought one if it was there a couple months ago when I had some discretionary funds.

The only real "issue" with the P210 is the 8 round mag gets old. Its funny, I have no problem running 7 and 8 round Tripp mags in my 1911s, but I hate the limited mag in the 9mm.

Edit: CZ has so many damn options now it's hard to keep up.

Looks like you've been hammering nails with the muzzle end of that 75 :)

No safe queens there. All of them have thousands of rounds through the bore and 3 - 5 times that many more dry fire draws.

The P-10 is the newest (bough mid Nov) and has 1600 rounds through already it, with 1200 of those in one month.

How was the single action improved? I have an S2 that I am considering having them work on. I will be converting it to SAO though and am curious if their work is worth it for just a single action. Will be adding an Armory Craft flat faced trigger if it matters.

Fair enough, I have contacted them via email and was impressed with the CS. Might do the SAO conversion myself and go from there. Still need my slide cut for an RMR though and BUIS cut and put in.

I am far too impatient to wait for Cajun or anybody else to get to mine. I always order the upgrade parts from Cajun, or walk into CZ Custom (local to me) and receive them quickly, then immediately tear into whichever CZ I want to change to make them the way I want them. Of course I do enjoy working on my own stuff, and never have had anything done by anyone else yet. But admittedly it isn’t because I’m any kind of a gunsmith. I’m just impatient and know if I screwed it up, I could then send it to somebody else to be fixed.

Have they smoothed out the mag release on the P10c yet? Last time I handled them the mag release was very sticky and hard to depress reliably. It really turned me off on what is otherwise a fantastic gun.

Since I now live in the people's republic of Virginia, I'm reluctant to discuss anything I may or may not own. Keeping that in mind, I have experience with several CZ's. I have never had anything I have shot fail to feed, eject, etc. Zip, zero, nada. Lights out accurate and great handling. Quality is solid.

No longer an issue on the new guns. The newer versions of P-10c/s/f have swapable magazine release instead of the ambi one that came on the first P-10c's. They did change the locations of the cuts in the P-10c mags for the mag release so that did annoy some people who have both older and newer versions of the P-10c.

    What he said

P-10s with the reversible (not ambidextrous) mag release drop them easily when you want to and hold on to them when you don't.

My P-10F is quickly becoming my favorite handgun of all time.

CZ's are awesome. I have a P09 and P07. Looking to expand the collection in the relatively near future

    Like a Glock? You'll love a P-10.

Oh and get a Shadow 2, they freaking rock. This year they have a SAO version from the factory as well. If you are Mil/LE, their discount program is generous.

    PO-7, PO-9 and CZ83.
    PO-9 is my duty weapon
83 is my primary CCW as it is super easy to conceal in light clothing.
EAA EA40B was my first centerfire handgun back in the early 90's

I have cz a01-ld on the way anxious to see what that's like. An American made cz lol.
It's a CZ Custom gun. You'll be fine.

This P-10F is American made. It runs like a raped ape and it's just as accurate and well made as the Czech made P-09 that I too own.

Dot Torture is not a pure accuracy test, but it gives you an idea

The shadow 2 is by far the best out of box factory pistol i have ever shot,it is heavy but you will get over it fast. The target too target speed with this pistol is amazing. using my last box of stand one chubbies was the most fun shooting i ever had. This pistol eats everything and any weight groups them well . The 210 is a fine pistol also but the anti climax of 8 rounds is uh....... unfinished

Picked up a P-10F over the weekend and ran a couple hundred rounds through it yesterday. First impressions are really good. Trigger is fantastic and mag release is flawless. I really only have 2 complaints about it. First, why would you put nice tritium night sights on the optics ready model? I actually really like them but they will get replaced with suppressor height as soon as my Holosun 507c arrives. Second complaint is the grip texture. Its too aggressive in some places and non existent in others. I have a very high support hand grip and there is zero texture in the area where I need it. It will need a stipple job to be satisfactory for me. All in all I really prefer shooting this over all of my Glocks.

The complaint about grip texture, while justified, is something that applies to virtually every other plastic pistol on the market.

Had CZ Custom do their thing with a CZ P-01 tactical and a CZ SP-01 Tactical. They shoot soooo nice. Everyone that shoots them loves them except for the real new users because of the light trigger. Way more accurate than I am. Wanted a CZ ever since Jeff Cooper gave it such high praises.

Anyone do the CGW pro upgrade on a Shadow 2? How is the single action better? I am going to be converting my S2 to SAO with an Armory Craft trigger at some point and was wondering if the CGW package is worth it for a SAO.

A question for you CZ aficionado's...75 compact or Omega? As I stated earlier I've got 2 PO7's and have been looking for a full size 75. Locally there's an Omega(not sure if it's an Omega or a convertible) and a compact for sale. I wanted a full size, but every time I pick up a compact I start rethinking the decision. Yea I know...BOTH. OK which one first?
