Anybody have experience with one of these? Good / bad? suggest better options if you wish. Use for rifle, practice position shooting cheaply. Thanks!

I bought one but rarely use it, it’s fine and all but probably has 200rds down it. I’ve had it for 2 years or so, for perspective, I picked up 3 new barrels last month in various calibers and all but the 338LM have more rounds through them in 30 days. Looks cool on the wall though......accuracy wise it will hit a 3” paster shoot N C at 100 with regular mini mag Ammo. I never tried any of the “match” Ammo. Kinda hard to justify $0.33 a round when I can reload certain rounds for the same price or just a little more...

I really like mine. I reach for it often when I want an inexpensive day of practice at the range.
I bought mine before I was aware of the cool stuff Vudoo Gun Works had to offer though. I would consider that option, depending on your budget. Either way you are sure to get some low cost, fun shooting.

The Tikka T1x is available from Whittaker guns for $420 preorder. Uses Tikka stock same as big centerfires. drops right into any chassis that takes the bigger Tikka actions.

Magazines will be different. KRG is still working on the bottom metal stuffs.

I use a really cheap Marlin XT-22 with a $50 scope on it for positional practice with a .22. The plastic molded bipod attachment broke off (buy cheap, cry cheap) so it's useless with a bipod unless I drill and epoxy a metal one in. It is the gun I use to introduce people to positional shooting as even .223 is a waste of $$ for beginning shooters trying positional.

I'd look into the T1x or a CZ (455 or 452) for .22LR and run cheap (subsonic if possible) ammo as I can hit at 200 yards fairly consistently on a big swinger if the wind is less than 5mph. It's the transition between positions that eat up time for me.

I like mine I use it for shooting KYL rack, Match sticks, playing cards and toothpicks. Very accurate with Wolf Match Target.
