Anyone have any experience with the Night Optics USA D-930? I've googled it and have not found any reviews.

I have been eye-balling one of these units as well, have got a few good reviews on them saying there is not a POI shift, and that in a side by side comparison with a PVS-24, the 24 (on the night it was tested) could make out more detail at a distance of around 850-1000 yards across a lake, but with the D-930 Clip-on, you could identify the target. The only drawback I can see is that I don't like the mounting system, the coupler attaching it to your day scope, but it does have a pic rail on it so it can be mounted to another pic rail canabilizing some scope rings and nut and bolting the bottoms together. I am heavily leaning towards this unit as it is affordable and seems to have the capabilities I am looking for and is available now!!! It sounds like there may be more options in this price range coming soon, but I am kind of an impatient SOB!!!

I have experience with one. The housing is made by the same company that makes most of the D-740 / 760 scopes. The image quality will be very good provided you get a good tube.
The mounting system is not good, IMO. I have heard first-hand accounts of Leupy's breaking at the objective bell. It needs to mount just like the PVS-22, that's all there is too it. The thinking was, to allow guys to use these on bolt guns....deer rifles, so that the user could have a regular wood stocked gun with no rails.
I think its not a good idea, and its been the reason I don't own one.

What I was considering doing is mounting it on my McRee chassis, it has the rail for NV on it. Taking 4 scope rings and using the parts to clamp the two rails together. This is what one gentleman did with his to eliminate the IMO cheesy scope bell mount.
The D-930 comes with a rail to mount an IR laser on it, it can be clamped on to your existing rail using the parts from a few scope rings.

He also had a good idea if you wanted to get rid of the ambient light filtering in between the scope and clip on of using a beer cozy or similar material to "wrap" around the objective of your scope and the clip-on, I liked that idea. I have a roll of velcro and I picked up a few Stiller cozies at SHOT this year that could be re-appropriated!
