I recently bought a. 338 lapua magnum Dakota longbow and im having trouble finding information on the barrel.its a LW-50 (Lothar Walther)barrel.does anyone know the twist rate on it?thanx in advance.
It's easy enough to figure out with a cleaning rod, a tight fitting patch, a Sharpie marker and a ruler. Just measure the length it takes for one complete revolution.
I have 2 LW 0.338 barrels and when ordered them the only twist rate I could order was 1-10" I also asked the builder of my rifle and he said the barrel he used is a LW 1-10" so I assumed that's the only rate available but some time ago I heard they also have a progressive rate barrels in 0.338
