Where did you get the brass? I'm curious how well it holds up in the primer pockets and the fusion-joint. Since you can push that brass to ridiculous PSI, what kind of velocities can you get with StaBall 6.5?
It's SIG 23 brass for the 277 fury, resized to 7/08 then fire formed into the 7/08 Ackley. I bought the brass as pull downs from American Reloading for about $.60/case. I'm still working out the longevity part but right now after two firings I'm seeing no change in the case or primer pocket.
With LC LR 11 brass, I was getting north of 2800 with a 25" tube and a 175gr bullet when I tested it out. I'm sure it'd be higher than that even with the hybrid case.
