My nine year old daughter told me this morning she wanted ribs for dinner. So off we went after hogs. After about a two hour stalk, we slipped up on three, I handed her the BHW 6x45, set the shooting sticks up, and she did the rest, perfect 100 yard shot, just behind the shoulder, double lung shot.
I thought she missed, two of the hogs took off, one slowly walled into the woods. I asked her if she missed, she popped the safety on, handed me the rifle, and said "no Dad, that's a dead pig walking", she was right it took about ten more steps, and did a nose dive.
