Night Vision DBAL vs PEQ15?

I swear that I tried Search and Advanced Search several times. I can't believe this hasn't been hashed out time and time again but...

What's the primary differences between the DBAL and the PEQ15?

I have a PVS14 and am looking for the ability to engage within 300 meters.

I am aware of the Class 1 products but I am interested in discussion of the non-Civilian lasers please.
