I have two questions to ask here concerning DBM's. First, is there any DBM for a WSM cartridge; and second, does every DBM require the action to be modified for use?

I have a Rem700 300 WSM that I would like to have a DBM for if there is such a product.

You should contact badger ordnance and see if they can help you out. I am pretty sure what you are looking for has been done many times. They can tell you what DBM you need, what magazine, and what will need to be done to the action, if anything.

I took a 300 win mag and had it rebarreled to a .308. Badger helped me with the bottom metal selection, magazine part number, and inlet my stock for $75. I ended up using the M24 DBM. They did an amazing job as well. It was perfectly machined and no epoxy was needed to create a perfect fit.

Only DBM that requires action modification is the defiance. At least that I know of. I thought Seekins had a WSM specific dbm a while back (or currently?). Other than that you can get wsm specific magazines that will work with any AICS style mag DBM.

I like that Seekins DBM. I know it will probably require inlet modification on the stock, but if that's the only other thing other than screwing it on looks like I have a winner.

Anyone have any experience with these?

Tried to get a Seekins DBM for my 300wsm...no bueno from seekins when i called. Said they discontinued it for some reason.

Accurate mag makes a wsm based mag for any aics type DBM. Could be a good option if it works, i never chased it any further since i sold my wsm.

I was originally planning to build a 300WSM and I contacted Marty at Badger Ordnance and asked the same question about their M5 DBM.
He told me it would work without any issues and that the AI mags will work fine....but they will hold less rounds. You will also have to keep an eye on your COL as the 300WSM is near max length that the AI mags can hold.

I verified that the 300WSM will fit into my 10round AI mags...They do fit and hold 7 rounds. I think the 5-rounder mags held 3 rounds of 300WSM.
Marty also pointed me towards the 300WSM mags by Accurate Mag.

I went 6.5Creedmoor instead.....cheaper on the powder that way...
