I like the fit/feel/finish and features of the LWRC the most, especially their upper receiver design and the fact that they have ambi controls. I should have jumped on one when they were on sale at Sportsman’s for $1600, but I have more 5.56 ARs than I need already and would have just Grendelized it. They have a nice ambi charge handle already. I just saw them for $1800 last night at Sportsman’s. I just saw a sale on the Tungsten Cerakote model for $1120.
Geissele, if you’re already used to dealing with AR-15 upper assembly and have the tools, I would skip the complete rifle and get:
* one of their blem upper receiver/handguard sets for $353
* Order a stripped lower for $160 matching the anodized color of the upper/HG. Sportsman’s has them for $150.
* Barrels from G are $299 from Brownell’s now.
* Geissele super gas blocks are $70 at Brownell’s.
* Gas tubes are $11-$15
* Geissele labeled bolt carriers with Nanoweapon finish are $145
* Bolts are $89 - $250 depending on whether you go TDP M4 bolt or G’s stress-proof bolt.
* For Geissele triggers, there are all kinds of deals you can wait for and get a steal
* SOPMOD stock for $95
* If you want the G RET (Buffer tube) they are $70 at Brownell’s right now
* Extra power action springs from SpringCo or Wolff are under $20.
* Get a standard carbine buffer
Pick the charge handle and LPK of your choice. I’m at $1660 before charge handle and LPK. If you get the Geissele LPK and CH, you’ll be well over $2000 with shipping.
The Super Duty G rifles are $2300.

Forged receiver set, standard charge handle, nice slim MLOK HG, stock trigger, nice coatings, polymer ejection port door. I don’t see the value in the subcomponents adding up though.
To me, the LWRC brings the most value to the table and leaves you room to upgrade the trigger if you really feel you need lighter than a 4-5lb single stage. Each of the 3 options have proven themselves in the durability/longevity metrics over the years in high-volume courses.
That Tungsten LWRC is the easy winner in this, and I think the normal price ones are as well, even though I like some of the features of the Geissele subcomponents. The DD is the easy loser in this comparison, not that it’s a bad option, just doesn’t have the features or correct valuation.

I'm running the LWRC DI in 16" and have been very pleased with its accuracy and overall performance. It shoots AAC 77gr and 55gr Black tip saber at .75 MOA or under.
The only mods I've made are a TriggerTech Duty 3.5 two stage trigger and a Precision Armament Efab Muzzle device and a magpul CTR, all of which has made it a pleasure to shoot.

I have owned all three manufacturers so I will give you my opinion.
1) Daniel Defense - I have had a MK18 since around 2011. Over the course of 18ish thousand rounds the only changes that I have made is that I replaced the muzzle device a couple times. I changed to a heavier buffer when I started shooting with a can to slow down the rifle. I broke the firing pin somewhere along the way. It is a well made highly reliable rifle.
2) I have the 14.5" Geissele URGI clone. I do not have as many rounds through it as the DD but I have had zero issues with it. If I do my part, it shoots pretty close to 1 MOA with good ammo. I have shot multiple kinds of ammo though it and they all fed, it prefers heavier bullets. I have used various parts from Geissele including their braided spring buffer kits, the maritime latch, several triggers, several rails. No failures, everything worked really well.
3) LMT - for the money you are talking about I like the LMT MARS L the best. I bought the 16" version with the 9ish inch rail as a starting point. I changed the grip because it was A2 and like it more vertical, I think it is BCM MK1. I changed the trigger to the Geissele SSA-E, it is just my personal favorite. I bought another un-barreled upper with the 13" mlok rail. I have two 5.56 barrels, one 300 blackout barrel and just ordered a converted proof barrel done by D. Wilson. I have two of their enhanced BCG, I ordered and have ordered bolt parts from JP Enterprises. With one small frame full ambi lower, I have three calibers and two operating systems (DI and Piston) and can use it at ranges from point blank to over 1,000 yards. The monolithic frame along with the easy and highly reliable barrel swap make switching things a breeze. It is the most versatile of the three rifles.
All three of them are good manufacturers and all will work well. It depends what you want to do.
Apparently I am also ADHD, you said LWRC and I processed LMT. I have no experience with LWRC.
I love the way the upper receiver and handguard transition on the LWRCs. Beautiful aesthetics that also have functional advantages, namely optics mounting without concerns over bridging.
I would probably own several LWRCs if they were Grendel. Their PDW in Grendel would be sick.

ADM/American Defense Manufacturing- looks to be the best Ambi lower on the market other than the much more expensive Radian

Man, you guys are great…..not just stating which but including a thorough explanation of why. I really appreciate it! I’ve decided to go with the LWRC. I found one in FDE for $1675. Gonna put a eotech on it (I believe). I’ve never had one but for the purpose of a patrol/defensive rifle (mostly close range out to 300) I think it would be ideal. Maybe I’ll just make a post about that. Thanks again!

It's a cheap 3D printed bag rider, I thought I'd give them a go and see if it holds up. So far no complaints honestly better quality than expected, seems to be doing the job well enough.
I haven't beat it on anything to see if it will take the punishment. I have noticed if you over torque the screws it spreads the gap where the the two pieces come together but I'm sure that normal due to it being a polymer rider.

Brownells DD SOCOM uppers are probably the best deal going right now.
True, but as I remember it Marty walked that back within a day or two after a social media shitstorm. I got rid of the DD I had at the time, but since forgave him and have three and a half DD's now. Solid rifles without a doubt. Bill Geissele doesn't have the best 2A record, either, IIRC.
I have DD, Geissele SD and LMT. All three are great guns (ut755ln) Freudian LMT slip is solid advise. LMT would be my goto. I have no experience with LWRC so there is no opinion. If you want to look for a LMT take a peak at V1Tactical and Titan Defense because there are hard to source. Others have had some issues with G-SD barrels but my gun has been a laser, and I also have it set up for precision. I think many AR's would be considered more accurate if we shot high quality ammo and used rifle scopes but we run Aimpoints/ ACOGS and blast away with good justification. I have DD uppers and no full guns but wish I did. DD is great kit too.

Besides, CA is better and imho, more accurate plus CA is owned by a true patriot with real trigger experience and worked with Crane.
Bill is just a grade A asshole, one of the reasons I can't go G aside from the qc issues past few years. No doubt he's come a long way though and his rigs do perform
I've never touched or seen a geissele, but I went through some similar mental gymnastics last year. I have shot DD quite a bit but don't own one. I think they're a bit chunky. I ultimately settled on the LWRC IC "E" which is just the IC DI without the ambi stuff. The only thing I don't like is the proprietary mount stuff, but with a little ingenuity, you can make MLOK work with it. I also just acquired a LMT upper on a built lower and it is top notch as well, although I don't have many rounds through it and it was lightly used when I got it.
Mostly I'm just glad that you got the LWRC because that was my first choice of which you've vindicated by making it your choice...and that makes me happy

Our LWRC barrels were keyholing in 5000 rounds. That right, not a typo. The triggers were going full auto due to premature wear. The handguard screws that held the piston cover on were falling out or shearing off. The guns were complete and utter pieces of shit. I would take the cheapest PSA over them all day.
The DD I had showed no, and I mean absolutely NO, issues at all after 3 years of HARD use on 2 continents, to include jungle service.
Never used a Geissele.

I think it's really hard to go wrong with any of the choices that you listed. I would boil it down to availability.
Personally, I shoot mostly LMT stuff, but have been considering picking up a geisselle URG-I upper.

What timeframe was that? Was it before LWRC became LWRCi?
They make standard Stoner internal expansion gas guns as well. I wonder if there are any high round count reviews of the Stoner gassed guns.

LWRC hands-down.
Had my M6A1 since 2009, and it's been a phenomenal rifle. Their CHF barrels are on point. Mine is superbly accurate for a 5.56 AR, even with cheap ammo.
Couldn't have been... I have an original private sector first-run 2009 LWRC M6A1, long before it became LWRCi, and it's been one of the best AR's I've owned. Thousands of rounds, no issues. His story sounds like some bootlicker DD post, but that's my personal opinion.
I have used the LWRC, Geissele super duty, and DD Mk18 overseas, and currently own a Super Duty and the M4A1 RISIII. So I have some opinions lol, that I’ve probably shared before in other posts.
LWRC: no one liked these. We got the piston guns (M6-IC or something?) with the proprietary rail and the spiral fluted barrel. Guns came with a mil spec trigger. Had op rods break at fairly low count, and since the proprietary rail required you to screw in sections of pic rail, the screws promptly were stripped out (not LWRC’s fault). Guys considered them to be unreliable in the dirt and sand. We did not run cans on these and they were longer barreled. (16in)
Geissele: everyone loved them. Light, and fully upgraded with every geissele part. Great trigger, and ran well with a can. Unfortunately we weren’t able to keep these guns for too long due to Afghanistan shutting down logistics having to get sorted out and items having to go their rightful owners etc. I went out and bought one, and for $1600 it was a deal, but at $2200 I don’t think I’d be so eager.
DD: they work and are reliable. Nothing mind blowing about these guns, just solid workhorses. Touch gassy with a can, not super light either. Ours came with geissele triggers but the factory trigger that came with my m4a1 was hot garbage. My m4a1 risiii also came with a non functioning safety out of the box, safety was impossible to manipulate one handed. Replaced it with a different safety and problem solved, it was just crappy that some asshole signed his name on the inspection card included in the box when the rifle was unusable.
And thus concludes my essay.

My story is based on my experiences running these guns overseas and stateside, with the only bias being that the gun has to work.
The LWRC rifles that I ran into were unreliable and not made well. They broke quickly. They were way too heavy for something less reliable than a standard AR.
They limit where you can mount optics and lasers because the piston gas vent will kill optics over time with the gas venting burning and eroding the optics.
They are just shit guns.
Buy DD or BCM or Geissele or whatever. Hell, buy a PSA budget blaster before a LWRC. I'm serious.
Way way back I shot the Ironman with the, at the time, marketing director of LWRC (Paul was still the owner). They had announced their monolithic upper on Arfcom and were telling everyone it would be out in two weeks. The marketing director swore up and down it wasn't vapor wear. It never came out.

I thought POF and POF were two different companies? I didn't know they were related at all.
POF USA was the US importer of POF contract parts in the 90's and early 00's. GWOT kinda got in the way so they designed a janky ARMS rip off AR-15 rail.
It's really important to remember the majority of opinions will be from people who are Di fanbois because that's what they own and/or used in the Mil- a very small percentage of semi-auto carbine owners have a Piston AR... Of the three brands the OP mentioned, only one, LWRCi, offers both Piston and Di. The new/LWRCi are GTG for both Piston and Di- the old LWRC ownership was a bit inconsistent on QA/QC.
I'm a fan of both Piston and Di ARs- Hk, Sig, LMT, Barrett, LWRCi, Geissele, ADM, PWS, BCM, DD, Radian, Hodge Def, KAC.
You really couldn't go wrong with any of the above brands.

I was heavily biased against piston AR's until I made a random 2am purchase of an LMT 12 inch piston upper on night and damn, it really changed my perspective on DI vs Piston.
It really doesn't matter at this point, really good guns are really good guns.
I know he ordered the LWRC DI already but, I so agree with you. I love my LMT which is growing all the time. I currently have one MARS L lower, two uppers (9 and 13 inch), a DI 16 barrel in 5.56, a piston 16" in 5.56, a 16" 6 ARC (DI) and I am about to pull the trigger on a shovelnose.
I’ve owned a couple DD rifles. They were solid guns that just worked. I still have some LMT 5.56 di guns. They’re a little heavy but shoot better than any other chrome lined guns I’ve owned. Never shot an LWRC so no comment. I bought a few Centurion Arms chrome lined hammer forged barrels because everyone raved about how well they shot good ammo but they didn’t live up to the hype. I’ve never owned one of their complete carbines.
