Hunting & Fishing Death to Old Two Beards

I just got my new Limbshaker Slate call yesterday from my buddy Robert, and took it for a spin this morning.

This double-bearded fellow covered about 250 yards of oaks in a matter of minutes. Nearly ran over me!

He joined us for dinner tonight.
Or at least his tenderloins did.

I have always liked the volume control of a slate call.
I still hunt with my old Penn Woods Roger Latham Slate from ~1980, and it's still my favorite.
I can get it down to a near whisper and make those hung up old gobblers close that final 75 yards in a hurry.

Been doing it for while.
