I have decided to order the standard Bisley reamer from PT&G. This is the standard Bisley, not the Bisley Match which is about .009 longer in the throat. My max magazine COAL is about 2.83" or 2.84".
I currently shoot a lot of #2156 155 gr. Palma bullets, some of the Hornady 150 gr. FMJ's (for fun) and plan to shoot 175's. I don't want to rule out any of the BTSP hunting bullets especially the Sierra 165 gr. soft points. I think the more traditional hunting bullet shapes might give me a problem with my COAL?
While I only reload and haven't purchased factory ammo in years, I would like to have an idea what ammo this chamber would not digest in my Armalite AR10. I expect some of the factory ammo with heavier projectiles to be incompatible, just curious where that transition might occur.
Thanks
